Who are we looking for 

We are looking for our first sales hire! At Staircase AI, the Director of Sales will be able to work on a start-up team and become both an individual contributor and a future Sales. This role will be vital to our business growth and have a direct impact on the business strategy and outcomes.

You’ll help define and improve our sales process through constant testing and learning cycles.


You will use your sales and business development skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and prospecting.

  • Drive new revenue across your assigned territory
  • Manage pipeline development, account growth and all forecasting of your opportunities  
  • Partner with Client Success team to ensure successful implementations, customer satisfaction, growth and ongoing partnership with clients 
  • Provide ongoing product feedback to internal stakeholders within our product organization
  • Help to build out the sales organization from scratch and be on the ground floor as we grow


If you have been in a quota carrying SaaS sales role looking after end-to-end sales processes, then we want to talk to you!

  • 3+ years of software sales or sales management experience, with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Proven success in SaaS or enterprise software sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in client-direct sales and be successful at running consultative sales processes in large and complex prospect organizations. 
  • If you have experience selling any SaaS Sales tools, CRM, support or Customer Success technology, it would be an advantage.
  • Experience in presenting to and interacting with senior management of prospect organizations.
  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
  • Embody a growth mindset.
  • You’re able to craft a point of view, hold an opinion, and build credibility as a ‘Trusted Adviser’ within your customers.
  • Been on the ground floor before and love that timing of a business.
  • A genuine passion for technology, disruption and innovation is also ideal.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role.
